Happy Birthday banner

My youngest is turning 5! He decided all on his own he wants a Candyland party, since that is his favorite game. So we (kids & I) have been busy making many things for this odd party since you can't go and pick up Candyland decorations. So more photos to come, but in the meantime here is a Happy Birthday banner that I saw here
I used scrapbook paper and grosgrain ribbon, think I'll reuse it for all my kids parties ;)

Flowers

Slowly trying to decorate my home with my break in school. Picked up this square vase at HomeGoods for $5, flowers on sale for $4, not bad for a quick fix.

Valentine's gift

Love Valentine's day it's so much fun! This year I brought a 6pk of Grape Crush bottles attached with balloons and tag saying "I've got a CRUSH on you" along with a box of his favorite See's chocolates to his work. Thanks Hillary for the Crush idea, and thanks Anna for the Cute card idea...gotta love Valentine's day!

Piano bag

I'd been wanting to make my daughter a piano bag since she started taking lessons. I found this one click here and was inspired. When I finished she asked me to make one for her scriptures. I couldn't find cute hand towels that were used in the example, so I just went to JoAnne's and bought decorator fabric because it was stronger. So excited with how they turned out!

No Soliciting sign

I've been wanting a "No Soliciting" sign for some time, but hadn't found anything just right. I'd had this basket I'd picked up from Hobby Lobby for some time, and just thought I'd add a thin board to it, with vinyl letters. I think it turned out great!
