Love Valentine's day it's so much fun! This year I brought a 6pk of Grape Crush bottles attached with balloons and tag saying "I've got a CRUSH on you" along with a box of his favorite See's chocolates to his work. Thanks Hillary for the Crush idea, and thanks Anna for the Cute card idea...gotta love Valentine's day!
I'd been wanting to make my daughter a piano bag since she started taking lessons. I found this one click here and was inspired. When I finished she asked me to make one for her scriptures. I couldn't find cute hand towels that were used in the example, so I just went to JoAnne's and bought decorator fabric because it was stronger. So excited with how they turned out!
I've been wanting a "No Soliciting" sign for some time, but hadn't found anything just right. I'd had this basket I'd picked up from Hobby Lobby for some time, and just thought I'd add a thin board to it, with vinyl letters. I think it turned out great!
For Christmas I had my husband make a drawing board I saw here it turned out great, only cost $20 to make. I intended it for my 4yr old, but my 9yr old has expressed great interest since it's gone up as well. I keep it near the kitchen since I don't want crayons and markers in the playroom. I think my hubby did a great job so proud of him!
This year, I took hot chocolate tins and wrapped them with scrapbook paper filled them with homemade "oreo" cookies for the kids teachers, and for the neighbors filled jars of hot chocolate with layer of candy cane and marshmellows with same cookies. It's always fun coming up with something different each year.
This year I'm finishing up my last prerequisite for Nursing school so we did very minimal with the Christmas decor...can't believe how fast the holidays come!
